Spent New Year's Eve in a ryokan with some friends. the view was breathtaking, as we could see the mountains in the distance. the staff provided us with amazing service and showed us how to use the private onsen, which was definitely one of the best aspects of our stay. the dinner and breakfast were both delicious, and we loved trying local dishes. the ryokan offered a great selection of DVDs and board games, which kept us entertained during our downtime.
Although the room was clean and the futons were comfortable, it was a bit small for our group. the location was a bit tricky to get to, as we had to travel up a steep hill and take a small bridge to get to the ryokan.

We had an amazing time at a traditional Ryokan, surrounded by picturesque scenery. We enjoyed a comfortable, clean and relaxing room with a beautiful traditional bathroom. the staff was friendly and always ready to assist us with local recommendations. We were offered everything we could need, from entertainment to a fully furnished relaxing lounge. We indulged ourselves in a delicious and varied breakfast while enjoying a breath-taking view of the surrounding hills. the location was tranquil but not too far from a few local shops and sights.
We did notice some slight wear in the Ryokan's common areas.

The private outdoor onsens were a great experience and allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery around us. The staff were helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable.
The hotel was a bit outdated and could use some renovations to improve its facilities. We also found it difficult to communicate with the staff as not all of them spoke English.
